Lucy began her undergraduate studies in 2000 at the Southwestern University, Bulgaria and then moved to the Chicago area where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University. She started practicing accounting with local firms working in the areas of general accounting, taxation, property management and real estate; subsequently obtaining a real estate managing broker license. After working in the field for several years, Lucy was accepted into the Graduate Program in Accounting Science at the Northern Illinois University (NIU) where she was awarded Master of Accounting Science degree.

Lucy has been practicing accounting in the Chicago area since 2008 and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Illinois. She has founded LGD CPA, PLLC with a mission to provide quality, cost-effective and personalized accounting services to small businesses and individuals.

She spends her free time with her husband and two daughters and likes to travel and be outdoors. She is passionate about volunteering at local organizations and connecting with people in the community.
